The first movement of Abigail Lui’s stunning “Wayfarers” piano trio is out this Friday. It is a first taste of “Horizons”, an album of chamber works by Liu and fellow emerging composer Sophia Mackson. Performed by Cerulean Collective and recorded by UQ Students as part of the Corella Recordings Project, Venturing invites listeners into Lui’s lush and jubilant sound world.

The single is accompanied by stunning artwork from Brisbane artist Teresa Poon.
